Mini Blossums is one of my many ornaments suitable for hanging around the house and can also be used for holiday tree trimming for those who celebrate in that way. They are very popular and I generally have several on hand which carry many different designs. No two are ever alike and I will show them here at Spirit Vessels Studio on a rotating basis to give you a sense of what can be commissioned. Again, these go very fast and yours may be slightly different than what you see here.

Various themes that appear on these "gourdaments", as some call them, are: Kokopeli, Bear, Rabbit, Lizard and many others....you can send me a note of your personal symbol interests, also. 6" tall and 5" around.

This mini hanging gourd ornament is symbolic of the Four Directions and the protection and strength that is represented by their Spirits. Suitable for use as holiday decoration or simply hanging around the house all year long. Excellent for giveaway, you may order as many as you wish and each will be slightly different. 4" tall x 2 1/2 " around.

Turquoise Rabbits

I have been taught that rabbit helps us remember to be brave and rise above our fears. These four rabbits carry the colors red and turquoise while the wood burning simulates the look of inlay. The top is trimmed with black dyed deer skin and 20, 3/4" size nuggets of turquoise are hand tied along the top edge. The inside carries 7 garnet beads. 5" High x 9" Across and 31" around.

Lizzy with Abalone

These four lizards are two-toned with black dye and copper leafing on a distressed background and rubbed to give a aged look. The top is wired with Abalone, palm tree sheath and one large purple glass bead. The wire is turquoise and the abalone pieces are polished to a beautiful irredesence. Lizard's, who can regrow their tails. offer us the encouraging reminder that we can get second chances in life. This contempory version of Lizzy's lesson will be great for conversations and decoration. 6" High x 8" Across and 27" around.
